Alien for GemiDonnie by Zarnala Alien for GemiDonnie by Zarnala

The idea by :icongemidonnie:
"I would love to see something with water to do! Webbed feet, fins, whatever. I do love water creatures, and I think there aren't nearly enough water/marine/whatever aliens out there."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I go through with a common fine-looking marine alien with blue pigment, gill-on-neck and ...some sort of head sculpture. Also came with simple jewelry to make it more intelligent look, you know. Not come with the clothing cuz I think it's unnecessary, clothes will cover all of his pattern which I want to show off.

Not my good try but hope :icongemidonnie: like it

This a fantastic picture. I also wish more people would create aquatic or semi aquatic aliens. However I think the face is to human. Also the head does not seem big enough to hold a large brain. The hands do not look like they could hold tools. This is still a great picture.

The person who gave me this idea describe the race is herbivores, my theory is predator always tend to be more intelligent, so look like these creature don't have much a big clever brain.

Species : Va'che ( you can change it if you don't like it. Took Va from Vatten (Water in Swedish) and Che from... sea )
Diet: Herbivoure, mainly eating seaweed.
Homeworld : ?
Height of average adult : 5 ft- 5.10 ft
Language : Va'che language.
Distinctions: naturally patterned skin, colors vary in different shades of blue. A large fin-like appendage on their head.
Lifespan: 80 - 100 years

The Va'che people is a race that spends most of their time in the water. They eat seaweed and other vegeterian kind of food in the ocean. One can almost only find them at sea; they tend to live by rocks. The fin-like appendage on their head is used both for finding partners and scaring off others. They are fond of colorful stones and they are a peaceful race which only fight within themselves- and then rarely.

At least, something like that. ^^;

Despite the fishy traits, it looks too humanoid. (why have a humanoid chest, shoulders, arm proportions, and head stature if it is marine?) However, it still looks fantastic.

I think it looks wonderful! He seems to be the type that live by the ocean, both under the surface and beneath it. And I can just imagine he got either a big tail or big feet to help him swim. I love the pattern; the nostrils are funny, and I like how his gills stick out instead of being 'normal'.

And I'm not quite sure why, but I adore his lips and the 'fin' on his head. :XD:
