But this blew me away. The fact that the Macaque has so much expression in its face, the pose and lineart are beautiful, and the level of accuracy and detail in each inch of it, makes me want to just say this: THIS IS BADASS. It has definitely earned a favorite from me. Also thank you for changing my view of anthro art, your gallery is incredibly beautiful.
haha i know, but one of my buddy said that my anthro look so weird because they look too real and humanist, it seem like the body and the head doesn't fit at all, haha. It's just different taste, but to me I like realistic anthro, a lil bit cartoonish like Black Sad comic is fine to me but I never get enough of the way people draw female anthro, pretty-human face with human hair style, I was kind of disappointed when I see this in Black Sad, thought not all of the female look like that, but mostly cat characters do.
my problem is when I make more character from the same species, breed..they all tend to look the same, well, how can you tell a different in features between two cow or two black cat, after all?
what harder is their expression , that's why most anthro artist choose to go with cartoonish style
I do draw a macaque female and other female primates, canine and primates are my main inspiration and a good source for anthro idea, they are vast in species and breed...and I could come up with a lot of thing such as characteristic based on their look
however, the way I draw anthro female primates is always different to canine or feline
