Pierre Oliver Charbonneau by Zarnala Pierre Oliver Charbonneau by Zarnala
Real name: Pierre Oliver Charbonneau
Born: October 18, 1936
Nickname: none
Alias: none
Occupation: American financier, banker, investor and art collector

Born Pierre Oliver Charbonneau was born on October 18 in Rouen, France to an upper-class family. His family later moved to Louisiana when he was only 4. The son of legendary financier Alexandre Francois Charbonneau, Pierre followed his father's steps. Shortly after graduating from Harvard University at a very young age, Pierre went into the family business and became one of the most famous financiers in history. In 1962, Pierre began his own private banking company after his father death, which later became known as P.O Charbonneau  & Co., one of the leading financial firms in United State of America.
Pierre had many interests beyond the world of banking. He enjoyed jockey, hunting, traveling and sailing. He was an ardent art collector, creating one of the most significant collections of his time. He later donated his art collection to the  Museum of Art.

Pierre's first marriage to Caroline Johnson was brief. They divorce a few months after the wedding. Five years later, Pierre married a 19 years old Klavdiya Kazantsev, who is a member of a Russian mobster family. The couple had two children: Francois and Nikolas. Klavdiya died at 33, caused by cancer.

Pierre retired at 74, making his eldest son, Francois, become the head of the company.

Pierre is highly intelligent, ambitious, polite, caution, he is very strict on his children, especially to Nikolas, who he classified as " the rebellious son". Using his firm, authoritative nature, Pierre taught his sons how to speak, act, and think like a banker throughout their childhood.
Pierre was born a financially privileged man but once he achieved financial success on his own, he become deeply devoted to giving back to his community, particularly where the arts were concerned.
He was known to be a tyrant by many colleagues who found him also to be self absorbed. He likes playing the role of a savior and the family boss, who worships his dead father and often challenging on his sons. Pierre is calm, powerful, polite, strict and paternalistic.

Trivia and Fact:
Pierre originally means "rock" or "stone" in French.
Pierre is an excellent sharp shooter, he owns a vintage gun collection.
Pierre still wears his weeding ring from his latest marriage with Klavdiya.

Wow, that's like the most realistic bg I've seen for any character period, let alone anthro. It sounds like it could be a drama or movie or something.

your anthro art is very inspiring, there's so much thought behind them, it's something I'm trying to bring into my own work.

oh dear jesus the character alone is full of candy in the execution but what really does it for me is the fleshed out background.

Oh mama, what a gorgeously thought out character holy crap I'm in love LIKE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Lovely, simply lovely. I wish I was better at anthros and had my own because I'd draw them together in a heart beat LOL with permission, of course

I have a crush on your cat characters- how did this happen, I never thought I'd see the day like dayum.

I just really want to draw this dude or Nikolas with an oc TOO BAD I HAVE NONE HAHA THAT FIT al;skf;sf'saf;kaf'

The frustration is paramount. Where do you get your inspiration for Pierre's background? For my mobster ocs I typically tend to run hollywood with a bit of realism thrown in. But mine are human PMC's and blood diamond miners.

from the movie The Game (1997) it is where i got the whole thing about this Charbonneau family

then most of Pierre's background are inspire from a few famous banker and businessman of America, from 1800 to early 1900

I don't like to create a character that has too much of a hero in him, a choosen one or somebody would come out and save the universe, i like them to be something less than that, something closer in life that we can imagine of

That sense of realism is what makes you such a great artist.
You create characters that seem so "out-there" and then you prove us wrong by making them believable.
You rock. :iconyeahplz:
